Founded by David Angel, AlignUp advises family offices, high-net-worth individuals, foundations, NGOs and impact-oriented startups and investment funds on all aspects of philanthropic and impact strategy.

Prior to establishing AlignUp, David served as Vice President of Partnerships at The Ogen Group, where he was a pivotal figure in the evolution of Ogen's model from exclusive reliance on donations to also incorporate PRI loans, bank financing and securitized debt. David spearheaded all aspects of Ogen's philanthropic and investment fundraising during a multi-year period in which the organization's activities, operating budgets and headcount all grew exponentially. 
 
David previously headed research & external affairs at a private family foundation, worked as director of communications for a venture capital fund and as associate director at APCO Worldwide, providing strategic communication and public affairs support to governments, foundations and multinationals in the technology, financial services, energy and healthcare industries. 
 
Originally from London, David has a B.A. in History from University College London. He lives in Modiin, Israel, with his wife and three young children.
